Description

Generators are machines that provide electricity when power from the local grid is unavailable. They convert mechanical energy to electrical energy for use in an external circuit. An electric generator may be used as a primary power source in areas where a local electrical grid is unavailable or difficult to access.

They are also used to supply backup power to facilities, businesses, hospitals, industrial buildings or homes during a power outage. Depending on their type, they can provide enough charge for an entire facility, or they can be a portable variant which can power necessary tool, appliances, emergency lights and so forth.

A very good portable generator is the petrol generator of the EL-GF series which come in a wide range of tank intake and electrical output. The lowers graded generator (EL-2.8 GF-6 – jump starter) has a good ration of 2.8kW and 3kW under load – the middle and high rated generators of this class have a higher capacity of output at 5kW and 7kW and 5.5kW and 7.5kW under load.

Two types of generators are included in our portfolio:

  • Gasoline generators – more efficient, easier to maintain;
  • Diesel generators – more powerful, used in industrial circumstances and hospitals.

The gasoline generators that we offer are with a compact design, they produce less sound and create less pollution and they are safer for the environment. This is due to the fact that you do not have to add oil in the gas and hence no oil is burned during the combustion process.

There are available models with rated power of 2.8kW, 5kW and 7kW which is quite a good ratio, considering that quite a lot of home appliances, energy efficient or not, require only about 0.9W of power to power properly.

Diesel generators

Diesel generators are more powerful – from 12kW to 140kW and are available with and without canopy. They are far more reliable due to the fact that diesel engines are self lubricating and work great even under a hard load for a prolonged time.

They have a large fuel capacity and can even work as a full time power generator for facilities, remote areas like monasteries, cabins and hospitals. Their reliable nature makes them an easy choice for anyone looking for a constant stream of electrical power or a sure back up.

The diesel variants come in two main series, the EL-DF with a canopy, and EL-DF without a canopy. The main difference is not in their performance, but in the sound and heat insulation which the canopy brings to the model. This insulation is vital when the generator is placed outdoors or in a humid place, because the insulation doubles the rain and frost protection.

The EL-DF without a canopy, on the other hand, comes cheaper and is easier to maintain since all of the parts are readily available and displayed. Their power charts are identical, with the lowers graded variant (EL-DF 15C) with a power standby rating at 12/10 KvA kW and the highest rated model at 175/140 KvA kW rating.
